The ongoing battle of the sexes is getting us nowhere. We all want to love and be loved yet the truth is very few of us have ever learned how. So left with trial and error; it seems relationships are a revolving door between headache and heartbreak. But what if there was a better way to learn the fundamentals of love and healthy relationships? Sort of like the ABC's and 123's of LOVE. Well, The LOVE Engineer believes there is a better way, and is on a mission to bring LOGIC to LOVE. Alex Merritt, a Mechanical Engineer by degree, has always had an insatiable curiosity about how and why things work, especially relationships. About 20 years ago that curiosity turned to her trying to figure out what she needed to do to truly LOVE and BE LOVED. Inspired by a quote from the Persian Poet Rumi, who said "your task is not to seek for LOVE, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself, you have built against it." Through extensive social research, global travels and divine downloads in her private "love lab", she has uncovered some of the barriers and discovered fundamental relationship principles needed for relationship satisfaction. I Declare Love is the most soul satisfying relationship podcast, which provides practical tools and skills that can be applied in everyday life! Finally, this whole LOVE thing makes more sense.
